Product Details:

Provide the following details while listing the products:

  • Product Title: A clear, concise name for your item.
  • Product Images: High-quality photos from multiple angles.
  • Original Price of the Product: The initial purchase price.
  • Your Price: Set the price you would like to sell it for.
  • Category: The appropriate category for your product.
  • Product Condition: State whether it's like new, gently used, etc.
  • Appropriate Age: The recommended age of the kid to use the product.
  • Product Description: A detailed description highlighting key features and conditions.
  • Shipping (National or Local Pickup): Choose the shipping option that suits your product.
  • Product Attributes: Any additional information, like brand or size.

SET A PRICING

To set a proper price for your products:

  • Evaluate Condition: Assess the condition (like new, gently used, etc.).
  • Research Market Prices: Look at similar items on Second Hugs.
  • Be Realistic: Set a price that reflects the product’s condition and market demand.

Or in case of any confusion you follow the strategy:

Shipping

We have created a seamless delivery process for you.

National Shipping: Choose national shipping if the product can be easily packed and shipped. The product will be picked up and delivered by our delivery partner.

Local Pickup: For items too large to pack, choose local pickup in which the buyer picks up the product from the Seller or delivered by the Seller individually.

Good pictures are often the key to a successful sale. Arrange for the best shots of your products, highlighting the best aspects.

Guidelines

To ensure a smooth and safe shipping process, it's essential to follow our packaging guidelines. Proper packaging helps protect the products during transit, ensuring they arrive in excellent condition. This guide provides detailed instructions on how to package various kids' products, including clothes, toys, books, gadgets, and fragile items.

1.Types of Packaging Materials To ensure safe shipping, we recommend the following materials based on the types of products you deal with:

Clothes

Poly mailers or small cardboard boxes BUY NOW

Toys

Sturdy cardboard boxes with bubble wrap or packing peanuts BUY NOW

Fragile Items

Double-walled cardboard boxes with plenty of bubble wrap, foam, or packing peanuts BUY NOW

2.Labeling

Print the shipping label from the Seller Dashboard.

Ensure the label includes the buyer's address, order number, and any other relevant information.

Paste the label securely on the package, ensuring it is clearly visible.

3.Sealing Packages

Use high-quality packing tape to seal all seams and openings of the package.

For added security, reinforce the edges and corners of the box with tape.

Ensure the package is sealed tightly to prevent it from opening during transit.

4.Package Dimensions and Weight

Keep the package dimensions as small as possible to reduce shipping costs.

If the product can be folded or compacted without damage, please do so.

Avoid using oversized boxes that add unnecessary weight and size.

5.Internal Packaging

Include the invoice, the product, and any additional parts of the product inside the package.

Use padding materials like bubble wrap or packing peanuts to fill any empty spaces and prevent movement.

Ensure the product is securely packed and sealed compactly.

6.Handling and Safety

Clothes

Ensure clothes are clean and neatly folded. Use a plastic bag to protect against moisture.

Toys

Wrap toys in bubble wrap to prevent damage. Secure any small parts.

Books

Place books in a padded envelope or wrap them in bubble wrap before placing them in a box.

Gadgets

Wrap gadgets in bubble wrap and place them in a box with foam inserts.

Fragile Items

Use double-walled boxes and plenty of bubble wrap or foam. Mark the package as "Fragile" to ensure careful handling.

Hazardous Items

For items containing batteries, ensure they are securely packed to prevent short-circuiting. Use anti-static bags if necessary.

7.Environmental Considerations

Whenever possible, use recyclable packaging materials.

Encourage the use of eco-friendly packaging options like biodegradable packing peanuts or recycled cardboard boxes.

8.Quality Assurance

Ensure the product is intact and matches the images shared on the platform.

Double-check the inclusion of any additional parts of the product.

Conduct a final inspection to ensure the package is secure and ready for shipping.

How To Execute Your Orders

This guide will walk you through the process of executing your order from the moment you receive the notification to the point of dispatch and payment. Following these steps will ensure a smooth and efficient transaction for both you and the buyer.

Order Notification

You will be notified of a new order via Email, SMS, and WhatsApp. Please check these notifications promptly to ensure timely processing.

Check the Order: Upon receiving the order notification, log in to your Seller Dashboard to review the order details.

Prepare the Order for Packing: Follow the Packaging Guidelines to securely pack the product. Include the invoice and any additional parts of the product inside the package.

Print the Invoice:
From the Dashboard, navigate to the order and print the invoice.

Create the Shipment:
1. Go to the Shipping menu in your dashboard.
2. Select the order number from the list.
3. From the dropdown at the top, select "Generate Label."
4. Once the shipment is created, click on "Download Label."
5. Print the packing slip and attach it to the package.
6. And then, Click on "Request Pickup" to initiate the pickup.

Processing Time:
Ensure the order is processed within 24 hours of receiving the order.

To create a shipment:

  1. Navigate to the Shipping Menu:
  2. Select the Order Number:
    • Choose the order number from the list of orders.
  3. Create a Shipment:
    • From the dropdown menu, select “Create Label.”
    • After creating the shipment, download the labels.
  4. Print and Attach the Packing Slip:
    • Print the invoice and include it in the packaging.
    • Print the packing slip and stick it securely on the package.
  5. Initiating Pickup:
    • After the package is ready, from the ‘More Action’ drop-down click on Initiate Pickup to initiate the doorstep pickup.

Dispatch

  1. Pickup Scheduling:
    • Once the Pickup is created, the pickup will be scheduled within 24 hours.
    • If there are any issues, please get in touch with the Support Team.

Tracking

  1. Update Order Status:
    • Log in to your Seller Dashboard.
    • Navigate to the Order section to update the order status.

Payment

  1. Payment Schedule:
    • Payments are made on the 15th and 30th of every month.
    • The payment cycle is based on a 24-hour window. For example, if an order is completed on the 14th or 29th of a month, it will fall into the next cycle (30th of that month or 15th of the next month).
  2. Payment Issues:
    • Payments can be held or penalized if there are issues with the order reported by the buyer.
